ok, with this card a good combo is; Darien, King of Kjeldor, Platinum Angel and forced fruition.(All three are good by themselves anyway). If you get all of these cards out at the same time, you become invincible. Platinum Angel prevents you from losing and Darien alows for you to gain creatures from it, you can just let your opponents attacks go right in and it only makes you stronger, this allows for you to create a massive swarm of 1/1's to overpower any opponent. If your opponent however doesn't attack because of platinum angel and you cant get past their defence, forced fruition allows for some good old fashion milling. this means you win the game even of you don't attack and with platinum angel out you wont lose even if you run out of cards to play. If you want you could play Darksteel plate and equip platinum angel with it to prevent kill spells form affecting it. Good combo, bit high mana though.

Actually to the guy who wrote the review about darien and auriok champion it is not hard for you to die at all if your opponent can deal enough damage to you to kill you you don't get the creature tokens and you don't gain the life as darien and auriok champions abilities stack until end of turn.

Darien, King of Kjeldor + Auriok Champion = whenever you are dealt damage you put a 1/1 soldier into play and then gain 1 life! meaning its really hard to die. If you where feeling really nasty you could include Proper Burial + Worship. . .
