Living in Preston whilst studying for a PhD in astrophysics, I spend most of my time reading/writing/thinking about Magic instead of doing any actual work. I regularly attend PTQs in the north/midlands as well as Nationals. Although I enjoy drafting as much as anyone, constructed is my speciality.

How To Beat The Best Legacy Decks – Fact not Fiction...

I can’t possibly cover all the decks out there, but I’ll cover a range of strategies so that even if you don’t play against these exact decks, the strategy should be similar enough that you can apply what I say here to your situation.

Peasant Cube & It’s Good to be Back – Fact not...

A peasant cube contains only commons and uncommons. I built it because nobody had a cube in my local community, and although I initially built it as a peasant cube to keep the cost down I can honestly say that I have as much fun drafting it as I do ‘normal’ cubes. Rather than go through how I built it card-by-card or colour-by-colour I’m going to go over some of the things that make peasant cubes different from rare cubes and some of the decisions you’ll make whilst building your cube. Hopefully there should be something in here for those of you who already have cubes, peasant or otherwise, or who want to build a cube of any type.

I was scrolling through the decklists which accumulated 18 or more points, looking for any decks that were cool or unusual, of which there were a few, when I started noticing a few interesting card choices in some of the more stock decks.

Fact not Fiction – Dredging in Modern, by Michael Maxwell

The dredgevine archetype got a massive shot in the arm with the printing of Gravecrawler and Faithless Looting earlier this year. I was impressed in testing by this deck, it has a lot of lines of attack.

Excellent customer service, extremely prompt delivery and all staff are very friendly and welcoming. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending both in-store and online.
Ordered 1x duel deck, Elspeth vs Kiora, and it arrived in less than a week. Counting on the fact that I don't live in the UK, they are pretty quick and their costumer service didn't take too long (less than 24h) to assist me with a minor issue. Much cheaper price in contrast to other websites regarding duel decks and they give freebies such as 1x rare card. Thank you manaleak!
Items were in fine condition, the goodies were fun and the shipping was fast and the secure package safely arrived!
