zanmor asked: So the story today spurred the custom card community to start speculating about what Yahenni’s card might be (if they get one in Aether Revolt). The first four posts in the tag were Yahenni cards and I’m not sure I’ve seen that with any character before. I think it’s safe to say they really struck a chord.

Mark Rosewater confirms that there will be no legendary U/R artificer in Aether Revolt
“somnomancer asked: Mark, I remember when SOI came out and people complained that Arlinn ate up the Werewolf legend space, but then Ulrich was in EMN. Now people are complaining about Saheeli eating up the Artifact-matters legend. …can I get a smile from you?
Kaladesh block does not have a Blue/Red legendary creature that interacts with artifacts.
We’re now aware of the desire and will one day make it.”

I'm starting writing this on Monday, the day when the visual spoiler went live on the mothership, but I'd expect it'll take me a few days to complete, so I'm going to endeavour to avoid reading any other set reviews or the like so as to keep my opinions pure
