Baruch Spinoza would be a cool name for a Planeswalker.
If you guessed that this comic is an obscure reference to the card Grave Bramble then congratulations. You win twelve Innistrads.
Grave Bramble- The key component of powerful new Standard decks such as Bramble Ramp, Bramble Blade, Bramble Pod, Bant Bramble, Mono-green Plants aaaaand…. these words what I am saying are all big lies.
Chances are you ain’t gonna see many Grave Brambles outside of junk stacks.
But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve tribute.
Grave Bramble is probably the only place you’ll see a combined homage to a popular tower defence game (Plants versus Zombies) and 17th Century Metaphysical Philosopher Baruch Spinoza.
You just ain’t gonna get that anywhere else. No way. Nuh uh.
What else was I meant to use? Snapcaster Mage? Pffffft.
You like my stuff?
I now have a Deviant Art page if you want to see it all in a convenient gallery format, click here!
Oh and seriously click that like button if you like what you see. Because everyone knows: If there is no evidence of your opinion then you must be making it up on the fly to sound cool. 🙂
