For black cards, I always favoured indirect creature removal, Diabolic Edict, Chainers Edict (both casting cost of 2) target player sacrafices a creature. Chainers is a Sorcery, so not as useful, but has the flashback cost if the game drags on.

Obviously against larger creature decks, they might not grant you the speed killing or perfect counter for a largescale attack. Then again, if you're playing mono-black control it shouldn't reach those situations, which is why we have cards such as those.

I'd say 4xChainers and 4x Diabolic Edict, hell, go all out with another 4 innocent Blood and be sure you can dominate the field and wear your enemy down.

Terror is a good black card but to say that it is overpowered is incorrect. It cannot destroy black or artifact creatures and it can only target one creature so you are trading 1 card for 1 card so you are not gaining card advantage. Compare this to Damnation or Wrath of God where for just 2 mana more you could be removing hoards of creatures from play. There are infinitely superior options for creature removal over this in all colours (except perhaps green).

MTG is the worse for having cards that are this overpowered for two mana.

Is there a better black instant than this? Destroy any nonblack nonartifact creature for 2 MANA!!!! Any black deck needs four of these.
